On 11 November, the “Pibidena Daath 2022 exhibition” was held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute. It was a great opportunity to showcase the various products such as arts, crafts, and textiles made by our students and to sell them. They represented the institutes of Ja-Ela, Negombo and Batticaloa. A large crowd, including students and their parents, also gathered that day to welcome the apostolic nuncio His Excellency Archbishop Brian Udaigwe, who was the chief guest, and Rev. Br. Anthony Christurajan, the regional superior of Sri Lanka, as guest of honour. They greeted the students as they entered the exhibition. Everyone was very pleased with the abilities and skills of the diligent students. On the second day of the exhibition, his Excellency Maged Mosleh, Ambassador of Egypt to Sri Lanka, came to the exhibition as chief guest, and Mr. Shirantha Peiris, chairman of the Ministry of Tourism, as guest of honour. The second day began with a reception by the school band at 10:15 am. On that day, too, students and their parents came to the exhibition with great enthusiasm. The Nisansala Institute was therefore very pleased that goods were sold to many people during these two days. Special thanks to all the organizers and participants of this important event.
